The Kinloch Club at Kinloch Manor was thrilled to have a recent visit from Ian and Jennie Baker Finch—where they took the opportunity to head to the greens and enjoy a superb day.
Ian is an absolute legend in the golfing world having won the British Golf Open along with the New Zealand Golf Open and many more titles.
He is also one of the best Golf commentators in the world.
Ian enjoyed joining us for a stimulating round of golf on our world-class championship course that pays homage to the great links courses of the British Isles.
He tested his skill against challenges designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, while taking in stunning views overlooking the sparkling blue waters of Lake Taupō.
Golfing at it’s best!
What Ian had to say:
“The Kinloch club is a challenging links-style layout with dramatic, natural contours, and stunning views.
The course can be tough, especially when the wind blows off the lake, but it’s truly an unforgettable experience.
The Kinloch course conditions were 10/10 absolutely superb tees, fairways and greens with the thick blonde fescue swirling in the wind.
A bucket list opportunity for all golfers. We will certainly be back for another visit.”
